SPONSORSHIP

Our company provides financial sponsorship for selected groups (schools) to organise tailor-made tours to Central Europe.

How to obtain sponsorship?

The school applying for such sponsorship should provide us with information and convince us of the excellent results of its pupils in the areas of academics, culture, sport or special skills, including a CV of the school.

Culture category: orchestras, choirs, dance groups, gospel groups, drama groups etc.

Sport category: all sport played in South Africa and elswhere in the world.

History-education category: students interested in the history of Europe.

After fulfilling the necessary criteria, sponsorship is provided by Arena Group, Embassies of the Schengen countries, the Slovak National Bank and private companies that significantly support The Bridge project between Africa and Europe or the projects The Road to Knowledge and Opportunities for especially skilled pupils who represent their country in some way.

PROGRAM

for the project Open Roads Knowledge for primary and secondary schools in Europe.

Duration : 13 days

 

1st Day: Departure from Vienna (Budapest)- Cape Town

2nd Day: Welcome to Cape Town, officially the most beautiful city in the world with its dominating feature, Table Mountain, sunny beaches and picturesque views of the Atlantic and Indian Oceans           

            It has earned the name RAINBOW CITY OF NATIONS for the peaceful cohabitation of many different nationalities here.

            Transport by air-conditioned coach to hotel.

            Accommodation, dinner,time to relax, swimming pool

 

3rd Day: Buffet breakfast at hotel.

            Today is your first day at school, morning tuition of academic subjects in English.

            An afternoon of sports, arts, computers, according to the interests of individuals and selected groups.

            Walk on Blouberg  Beach (Atlantic Ocean), see an unforgettable sunset above the famous Robben Island. Dinner at a restaurant or the hotel.

            Transfer to hotel.

 

4th Day: Breakfast at hotel           

             At 11.oo sight-seeing of city centre on foot, see the Parliament, walk through the largest city park with tame squirrels which you can feed with nuts, enchanting flora.

            Visit to National Museum of South Africa.

            According to interest: tour of the  MOUNT NELSON HOTEL, the most expensive in Cape Town ( Michael Jackson, Meryl Streep etc stayed there)

            In the famous Long Street with its typical Afro-style you can buy a small souvenir.

            Dinner at hotel or in city.

 

5th Day:         Breakfast at hotel.

            Tuition and afternoon activities in English, according to interest. New friends, new experiences,interesting situations that arise because of the language differences.

            Time to relax at swimming pool, dinner, relax.

 

 

6th Day:         Breakfast.

            Today you will go on a full-day coach trip.

            Clifton Beach – most popular beach, stop to swim.

            In the old fishing village HOUT BAY a boat trip to Seal Island, we continue via Chapmans Peak to the CAPE OF GOOD HOPE and Cape POINT where the Indian and Atlantic Oceans meet.

            On the way back you see Simons Town, made famous by its penguin colony, we stop to cool off at the Indian Ocean.

             Muizenberg - FALSE BAY.

            Dinner at hotel or on the way back from our trip.

 

7th Day:  Breakfast

Day at school, tuition. Improve communication in English by taking part in sports activities.

            Free afternoon at hotel pool.

            Dinner at hotel.

 

8th Day: Breakfast

            A lazy morning, prepare for ascent up TABLE MOUNTAIN where the panorama of Cape Town opens up from all sides. Don´t forget your camera. Walk on Table Mountain, unforgettable views.

            Prepare  sports clothes- we are going to conquer the pride of the city by ascending it on foot (about 2 hours slow walking). Safe hike on marked paths.

            Possibility to ascend by cable car. All return by cable car.

 

9th Day: Breakfast

            Full-day coach trip to the interior. Visit a natural ZOO, typically AFRICAN.

            Visit to UNIVERSITY town, walking tour of the school and buildings of the oldest university in South Africa. (Possibility to study here in future).

                Visit famous wine farm, excursion around the farm with guide and translator. Wine-tasting of top- quality wines for adults. Present with farm logo.

             Dinner at hotel or on the way back.

 

10th Day:       Breakfast.

            Free morning at hotel pool or in hotel rooms.

            Afternoon sight-seeing excursion of the popular tourist centre WATERFRONT to see the harbour, souvenir shops, anchored boats, families of seals. Visit to Two Oceans Aquarium and its beautiful underwater world. Shark-feeding by divers.

            Evening atmosphere provided by musical performance under the open skies. Feel the African style everywhere.

            Dinner at the Waterfront or at hotel.

 

11th Day:       Breakfast.

            Your last day at school. Don´t forget to exchange contacts with your new friends, teachers and the people who prepared this project. Remember the pleasant and at the same time strict school, university environment. In future you can study here and achieve the highest education in English, recognised in all English-speaking countries.

            Afternoon preparation for typical a South African braai, something South Africans are proud of.

            Competition – each room has something in store  (rules and instructions are prepared 3 days before the event). You can invite new South African friends and spend time with them. An evening full of impressions, conversatons, questions and answers. Dinner at the hotel-prepare for departure...

 

12th Day:    Breakfast.

                Transfer to Cape Town International Airport.

                 Departure Cape Town - Vienna (Budapest)

                 Meals and services on board.

 

13th Day:   Arrival at international airports in the EU.

                Transfer to Bratislava.

                WELCOME HOME.
